Families


Carers NSW is a not-for-profit organisation for relatives and friends caring for people with a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependency, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.

Parentline is a telephone counselling, information and referral service for parents of children ages 0 to 18 who live in New South Wales.Parents, grandparents and carers anywhere in the state can call Parent Line on 1300 1300 52 from 9am to 9 pm Monday to Friday, and 4pm to 9pm on weekends

Disability Services

Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is part of the Department of Family and Community Services. The Department aims to provide better and more integrated services and support for vulnerable people in NSW, including older people, people with a disability and their families and carers.

ADHC Ability Links NSW is a new way to support people with disability, their families and carers.  It provides people with a locally based first point of contact to support people to access supports and services in their local communities.

Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association of NSW (MDAA) is the peak body for all people in NSW with disability and their families and carers, focussing on those from a culturally and linguistically diverse / non English Speaking background with disability.

Macarthur Diversity Services Initiative is a registered, not-for-profit charity that offers practical help and support services to the disadvantaged and marginalised. MDSI seeks to make our organisation and our services are relevant and accessible. MDSI’s programs are specifically aimed at four broad service areas: children, youth, family and aged.
