Arab Council Australia (Council) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 20 November 2024, at its Fairfield East offices. The evening marks the first AGM under the leadership of the Council’s new CEO, Hassan Moussa.
Highlights of the evening included a compelling keynote address by Dr. Randa Abdel-Fattah, acclaimed author, academic, and human rights advocate: “Academic Freedom and the Palestine Exception: The Censoring of Pro-Palestine and Pro-Arab Voices from Public Discourse.” 
Additionally, a new Board was elected to continue leading the Council’s vital work in community advocacy and support.
